Desk lamp from the Invider family, shaped by hand in France from recycled newspapers, plaster and plant-based glue. Fifty centimetres tall, with an arm that brings the light down onto the table.
Specifications
In detail
Mom is the tallest of the Invider: fifty centimetres. With Sista, she forms the “feminine” side of the family, moulded from the inside for a thin, even wall.
Her arm leans over the work surface and brings the light down onto the table rather than into your eyes: a desk lamp, or a reading lamp beside an armchair.
Sanded to reveal the grain of the paper, then finished with beeswax.
G9 socket, crystal cord of about 1.5 m. Supplied with its LED bulb (10 W maximum, LED only).

Hand-applied
Laid by hand, layer after layer.
The pulp is pressed into an open mould by hand, in several passes. The thickness is never quite the same from one piece to the next, and the surface keeps the trace of the hand. It is slower, and it is what makes each piece recognisable.
