Two halves injected separately in a multi-part mould, then assembled: that is where the slit, and the name, come from. A twenty-five-centimetre shell, available as a pendant, a wall lamp and a portable lamp.
The workshop’s most consistent technique, for small runs, with a more industrial look than the modelled pieces.
What it is made of: papier-mâché, recycled paper, MoldingPulp. How it is made: a lamp, from ground newspaper to wax. Bespoke: a piece drawn for one place.

Questions
Pendant, wall light or portable lamp?
The same 25 cm shell. The pendant above a table or a counter, on its own or in twos and threes. The wall light set flat against the wall, held by two visible brass screws. The portable lamp plugs into a socket, hangs from a nail or stands on a table.
Do I need an electrician?
For the pendant and the wall light, yes. The portable lamp simply plugs in.
Which bulb?
E14 socket, LED 10 W maximum, not supplied.
Why the split?
The two halves are injected separately in a mould, then joined.
What is the lead time?
Pieces in stock ship within 48 hours; the others are made to order in two to three weeks.
