Delivery and returns
Every piece is packed in Béziers by Henri Dejeant himself, wedged so that it travels without moving.
Lead times
- In stock: shipped within 24 to 48 working hours of payment.
- Made to order: made in 2 to 3 weeks, then shipped.
- Colour on request, one-off or bespoke piece: the lead time is agreed with you before ordering. A new piece can take up to three months.
Shipping
Parcels travel with Chronopost and are delivered against signature; the tracking number is emailed to you on the day of shipping. Within France, allow 24 to 48 hours in transit.
Furniture and large pieces may be delivered on a pallet, to the foot of the building, on a date agreed with you.
Delivery costs depend on the destination and the weight. They are shown before payment.
Countries
Online ordering is open to the countries offered at the “Delivery” step. For any other country, write to contact@henridejeant.com and you will receive a shipping quote.
To countries outside the European Union, notably Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Norway, parcels travel DAP: customs duties, local tax and the carrier’s handling fee are not included in the price shown. They are charged to the recipient on delivery, and the amount depends on the country and on the value of the piece.
On delivery
Until you receive it, the parcel travels at the seller’s risk.
If you can, open it in front of the courier. If the box is crushed or a piece is broken, write precise, dated and signed reservations on the delivery slip, for example “lamp broken, base cracked”. Vague notes such as “subject to unpacking” are of no use.
Then write to contact@henridejeant.com within three days, with photos of the box and the piece. These steps make it easier to claim against the carrier; your rights do not depend on them. A damaged piece is replaced or refunded.
Returns
You have 14 days from receipt to change your mind, without giving a reason. Let us know by email at contact@henridejeant.com, or with the form attached to the terms and conditions of sale, then send the piece back within the following 14 days, in its original packaging and well wedged. Return costs are yours to pay.
The refund, including the original delivery costs at the standard rate, is made within 14 days of your request, by the same means of payment. It may wait until the piece is received.
Pieces made to your specifications (colour on request, bespoke size or shape) cannot be returned. A piece that comes back damaged because it was poorly packed may be refunded in part.
