In detail
Kokiy, “shell” in Creole, takes the spirit of the Invider into a desk-lamp format: twenty-seven centimetres tall, with a footprint that fits in the corner of a table.
Its form was too complex to get right by hand: it is vacuum-injected into a multi-part mould designed in the workshop, which drives out air bubbles and gives an even wall. It is then sanded, smoothed and waxed by hand, like the others.
G9 socket, crystal cord of about 1.5 m. Supplied with its LED bulb (10 W maximum, LED only).

Workshop-injected
Vacuum-injected into a closed mould.
The pulp is put under vacuum before it enters the mould: the bubbles are driven out and the material compacts. The closed mould gives an even surface and makes it possible to produce a piece close to the one before.
