The portable version of Splitt: a twenty-five-centimetre shell in recycled newspapers, plaster and plant-based glue, to hang from a nail or stand on a table. E14 socket, braided textile cord.
Specifications
In detail
The Baladeuse is the free-roaming version of Splitt: it is not fixed. Hang it from a nail, stand it on a table, carry it from room to room.
Like every Splitt, it is made of two halves injected separately in a multi-part mould, then assembled. Twenty-five centimetres a side, open underneath, with a more industrial look than the modelled pieces.
E14 socket, braided textile cord. Bulb not supplied, LED only, 10 W maximum.

Workshop-injected
Vacuum-injected into a closed mould.
The pulp is put under vacuum before it enters the mould: the bubbles are driven out and the material compacts. The closed mould gives an even surface and makes it possible to produce a piece close to the one before.
